Update:
In 2023, CASA Kane County was able to serve 663 children who were removed from their homes in Kane County due to neglect and abuse (the highest number in their 35 year history). Our support provided for these children in the following ways:
- 201 active CASA/GAL volunteers;
- 188 children’s cases closed;
- 84 children adopted;
- 65 children reunified with their parents;
- 7 children now living with a relative or guardian; and
- 100% of children in Kane County appointed a CASA/GAL volunteer.
