Ladies Providing Lunch for SJN Garage Build

One of our main activities is supporting the Knights of Columbus in their endeavors. For the last two weekends in July, the Knights built a 2 car garage for St. John Neumann. Now, the ladies could have joined in with our hammers, but Doris and Caroline decides to bring lunch instead.

The Return of Breakfast with Santa (with KCIC Poster Contest)

Webmaster Elf Ann DeMartino shares:

Breakfast with Santa was very well attended!  Tons of kids participated in the poster contest, along with the arts & crafts.  Check out the photos on our website Gallery.

Everything was perfectly set up in the morning from the crew from the night-before!  The corner for Santa was home-y, even with stockings hung by the chimney with care.

Denise created a nice poster (to keep for years to come) for the Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest.  Lois did a great job organizing us all, as well as supplying the certificates for each participant.

Doris brought some no-sew blankets for us to tie for a well-deserving recipient… a dialysis center, with patients in need of warmth from a blanket in such a trying situation.

So many other Ladies Aux participants, too (Rita, Julie, Julia, Cathy, Denise, Lois, Doris, Janet, Donna, Carol, Caroline, April…and I’m sure I am missing some other Ladies).  It was also nice to see the many families of our members, with their husbands, kids, grandkids, and godchildren.  Some of our helpers were our Ladies’ very own children and grandchildren.

This was the perfect way to stay in the spirit of Christmas, for sure!  I just wanted to say my sincere ‘Thank you’ for such a great morning!! And most of all…I hope that each of you have a very Blessed and Merry Christmas.  God bless.
